SGCC’s S&T Project Led by CEPRI in Distributed Power Generation and Microgrid Passed Acceptance Inspection

On August 30, SGCC’s S&T project “Research and Application of the Grid Optimal Planning and Coordinated Control Technology for County-level Power Grid with High Penetration of Distributed Energy Resource”, led by CEPRI, passed the acceptance inspection organized by the Science & Technology Department of SGCC.

The project has innovatively proposed the appropriate operation mechanism, optimal planning and coordinated control method to deal with the high penetration of distributed energy resource, and developed a platform for the operation, management and active control of distributed generation. The research results have been applied in Jinzhai County, Anhui Province, significantly improved the integration capability of distributed energy on county-level power grid, elevated the utilization of distributed energy and power quality, reduced the loss of the county-level power grid, and achieved the friendly integration of distributed energy with high penetration, realizing good social benefits.
