CEPRI has actively involved in the construction and operation of a number of China’s pioneering and milestone power project over the past 60 years, ranging from China’s first 330kV AC project, the epoch-making 1000kV Jindongnan-Nanyang-Jingmen UHV AC pilot project with the highest operating voltage in the world, to the ±800kV Xiangjiaba-Shanghai UHV DC pilot project featuring the world’s largest capacity and highest voltage and SGCC’s Smart Grid Demonstration Project.

CEPRI is highly qualified for research into and application of key technologies of EHV/UHV AC/DC transmission and transformation engineering, and FACTS projects system commissioning, such as FSC and TCSC, and CSR, etc. The implementation of commissioning include the flow stability, electromagnetic transient, analog and hybrid simulation of pre-commissioning, joint commissioning of secondary control protection equipment, system commissioning plan, testing plan, formulation of commissioning implementation plan, as well as the implementation, testing and inspection, technical analysis and decision making support of on-site commissioning, etc.
